the Wedding Programs
I was all set to DIY my wedding programs...but as of right now, we have less than a month left and with all the last minute details, I don't think I could devote ANY time to it. I found a template online for fan programs and created my design. I forgot where I found the template, but it is easy to google them. I know this one was helpful for a friend: http://www.wedding-paper-products.com/Fan-Programs.php
I have six panels - the cover, the bridal party, the ceremony (twice), Filipino wedding traditions, and the thank you's.
I went on etsy alchemy and got a bid from SophieSky - she will be printing, cutting, and adding the gold eyelet on champagne metallic paper :) Here is her sample of mine:

The Filipino Traditions:
Principal Sponsors (Ninongs and Ninangs)
These family members act as Godparents to the newlywed couple, guiding, and supporting them through married life.
Lighting of the Unity Candle
The mothers of the bride and groom light the two side candles beside the unity candle.
The candles symbolize the Light of Christ, the same light they received at Baptism and now receive again to lead them in their new life as a couple.
Presentation of the Arras (Coins)
The groom gives the bride thirteen coins, which represent the sharing of resources with each other.
This also signifies the hope for future prosperity and the promise to take care of one another
Presentation of the Veil
The veil draped onto the couple symbolizes purity and God’s protection of the marriage.
Presentation of the Nuptial Cord
The cord is a symbol of the couple’s bond. They are no longer two, but one in their new life as a couple.
Our Thank Yous:
As we celebrate, please let us include in this day, the spirit and fond memories of all those whom have departed from our lives

To our Dearest Family and Friends,
You have honored us with your presence today.
The friendship, laughter, shoulders to cry on, and the hands to
hold that each of you have provided has enriched our lives.
We would not be who we are today without you. As you have
helped us grow as individuals, from this day forward,
we ask for your support and guidance as we grow together.
Thank you for sharing in this special day.
To our Dearest Parents,
Your love and support goes beyond any we have ever
seen, and more than we could have ever asked for.
Who we have become, what we believe,
and our ability to look towards a wonderful future
together as husband and wife come from all
that you have instilled in us. You have
given us extraordinary examples
of how to live, love, laugh, forgive, forget,
and persevere. Throughout our lives,
you have given us all that you could,
and then, amazingly, more.
Thank you so very much
for making this day possible.
We love you with all our hearts.
Special thanks for all the hard work to help create this memorable day:
